About Us

Twin Tides Kennel was founded by siblings Brigette, Adam, and Natasha Olearcek, three Maine Maritime Academy alumni who saw a need for a reliable, safe, structured dog facility in our community and decided to take on the challenge. After years at sea, we wanted to build a business that would bring us an opportunity to have a home life while serving the pets and families of Hancock County.

 

We operate our facility with the same expectations held to keep a ship in working order — with safety, efficiency, and structure to ensure your dog's stay is as positive as possible. From the towering pines that surround our Bucksport Road location to the scenic coastal views that make Ellsworth special, we've designed our kennel to reflect the natural beauty of Maine.



As active supporters of local shelters and animal-welfare events in Hancock County, we're proud to give back to the community that has welcomed us with open arms.
